We usually listen in routine that Knowledge is Power, it is wealth, it is a precious gem etc but rarely we think by going in depth of this sentence. Indeed knowledge is power but accepting any fact without analyzing its weight is also against the rules of knowledge so we must know first why knowledge is power?
Before beginning our discussion, we are going to have a look around the globe.. Aren't we seeing that the nations which are more developed in the field of knowledge are more powerful than others? The nations which were or they are considered as super powers have superiority over other nations specially in the field of knowledge. This clearly indicates that knowledge is such a power whose efficient use can make people super powers.
This leads us to conclude an idea for anything that helps us in many ways. Now the question arise,

Knowledge awakes our curiosity, our sense of exploration that opens the way of further development, improvement, benefits and advancement. We can take the example of Science here. The first step in deducing all researches, theories and laws is "Observation" and observation is the ultimate result of knowledge. Knowledge is the factor which gives birth to Observations and helps in enhancing the analyzing power.The word is science is only for example here otherwise this observation and knowledge works in every field.
Ways to increase knowledge:
It isn't necessary that only nations develop with knowledge. At the individual level, it is also as much important as on the collective level. An individual must know the ways to increase his knowledge. The thirst of knowledge can never be quenched and it makes a person more curious if he is really hunting for knowledge.Normally we presume the things as knowledge which we find in our academic books and don't run towards the other resources of knowledge. Following are the ways to increase the reservoir of knowledge.
1. Reading:
Reading is the most important thing to increase knowledge. It doesn't matter how do you access the material which you read, either in the form of paper books or in the soft copy. Whatever you read will be bringing a boost to the reservoir of facts hidden in your brain. But remember to select the material which helps you something. There are many departments of knowledge and everyone is not gonna help you so try to know about that which can help you and suites your interest. In this way you will be proving fruitful.2. Observations:
Observation is another thing which has a key role in boosting knowledge. As I told above in the example of science how observation is important in all products of science so we cannot deny this fact and we have to enhance our observation in order to have more knowledge.3. Personal Experience:
Well reading gives the knowledge of others' experiences because what we read is the outcome of the personal experiences of others. To know accurately about something, our personal experiences matter more than the knowledge of others' experiences. For example, we know that labor pain aches a lot but not all of us experience this so can't tell precisely what happens in this pain. This is a general example of understanding the difference between personal experiences and to know about others' experiences. One should try to increase his knowledge by concluding the results from his personal experiences too. This is the most successful method. Experience is the thing which comes with age or accidents. The important thing which we have to follow is not to waste this experience but to use this in gaining more knowledge.
